So yesterday I was told that the hiring manager for a place is requesting an interview, and that it had to be the very next day. I said "Great, when?" and... got no response until this morning, on the same day of the interview.

I was at first upset and thought they picked another candidate and just didn't bother responding to me. The devil, as they say, is in the details :)
