The more I look, the more I start to realise that the majority of questions like this can literally just be answered with 'increase SMV.'

If you didn't have time to work on your own self-improvement, and tried to stay in an LTR anyway, there's a pretty good chance she's would have branchswung/cheated.

? I don't understand why you're having second thoughts about breaking up if this is what you thought. You're in uni, you're still young - you'll date again. Just increase your SMV and a better girl will inevitably come along.
