Guys... I like Season 3 Rick & Morty

I may be in the minority here but these past few episodes seem to be writing Rick poorly. We've gotten 2 episodes so far where they explore his emotions and make him "vulnerable" and it seems retarded to me. I don't know if it's the women writers or not but it just doesn't fit to me and the episodes are losing their shine.

Episode 1, great. Rick escaping prison, Jerry's job, Earth under the Aliens... The divorce was brutal.

Episode 2, Summer the Mary Sue. Not a lot of laughs. But ok.

Episode 3, Pickle Rick was largely out of character as I know Rick. He swung wildly from incompetent to godlike superhero. It seemed like bad fan fiction for the most part. The long therapy crap, lack of Jerry (family in crisis, dad excluded is at least realistic). The "oh so smart" shiteater therapist "beating" Rick with her monologue. Reeked of forced girl power.

Episode 4, I liked. Some SJW shit thrown in, diversity, triggered, goddess woman leader (but she exhibited every bad trait a woman can have so that's something), I actually thought this one was more classic Rick and Morty.

I don't think you can judge a show on a couple episodes. All shows degrade after an explosive first couple seasons. It's hard to capture the fun of the first two seasons.

I thought the pickle rick episode was funny and whacky. A little different, but c'est la vie.

The new episode has Cristian Slater as a guest role. I laughed so hard from what happens to him. Still a great show and can't wait for the next episode. It has gotten darker just like Rick said it would.

I skipped ep2 because of all you guys hating on it, but I liked ep3 and now I see plenty others on here saying they didn't like that as well. So should I watch ep2?

I thought pickle rick and vindicators 3 were hilarious. Especially with rick telling them all theyre not unique or special
