I am deeply suspicious of any allegation of sexual assault that is brought up years and years after the supposed event. The issue is that despite everything that is said, these cases are "he said, she said" and now we have this entrenched ideal that "women should always be believed" which is causing the justice system to be inverted; meaning defendants now have to try to prove they are innocent rather than the prosecution prove they are guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. That is NOT how the justice system is meant to work. If you automatically believe that a woman is right, you by default must automatically assume the person being accused is guilty. Feminists want this, because they know that there is no actual evidence that can be presented by men, it's virtually impossible to prove that you DID NOT do something. It makes cases easier to prosecute. This is truly a very scary time to be a man. Just look at the evidence that convicted Rolf Harris, it was all circumstantial and very flimsy, lacking in any real evidence. Look, in the end, only 2 people really know what happened, Bill Cosby and that woman. However it is worrying that you can be convicted of a crime now, without any physical evidence that you did anything wrong.

I remember when Cosby was making "inflammatory" statements about using belts and having personal responsibility. Then there were public threats against him, "don't lee saying what you're saying". He didn't listen then bam these allegations.

My thoughts? Bullshit. Cosby may or may not (I still say he didn't) do anything to the 50 or so women. Maybe to the first original woman. That's what it was originally about right? Now however, it's 50 women. So, it's basically one man against 50 women. How could you win that battle? You can't. What annoys me is that there isn't even proof that any of the other women aren't just jumping on the bandwagon. It's starting to seem like if enough women can say they were sexually assaulted by someone, that person is automatically at a major disadvantage.

Think about it, how many sexual assault cases and allegations have been brought up in recent years compared to in say, 2004 or 2007? It feels like women know that they can just use that card and benefit from it. ESPECIALLY when it supposedly happened 20+ years ago since there is no way to really prove that easily, then other women (who probably never even met the guy) say they were assaulted as well, thus turning "innocent until proven guilty" into "guilty unless you can prove you're innocent". This "metoo" movement, if it keeps up, is going to cause more trouble than it'll solve at this rate.

Because the old ones were dismissed... And under the law, you can't be charged for the same crime twice. Unless the law no longer applies to men...
