My best theory is that these women are turbothots who don't remember how to interact with men they have no romantic or sexual interest in. They may not even realize they're doing it.

Just say "I dont wait for someones permission to speak with somebody" (make sure to say this with confidence, believe in it, even better, be someone who does not ask someone to speak to someone).

Tell me, is it forbidden to speak to people? For example, if I need a lighter for my cigarette and I ask a person on the street for a lighter, am I doing something illegal? If I ask for directions, if I make some small talk in an elevator etc.

No, thats normal human behavior. So is being interested in somebody.

Think of a guy who drives a motorcycle. He stands there besides his machine, drinking and relaxing. You are also a motorcycle fan and would like to know about his machine and his experience....you are just interested in the guy because of his hobby. If you talk to him and ask him some questions like "how much horse power?", "are you happy with the machine? I think of getting one myself" etc.....is this "awkward"? No! thats how we come into contact with each other. The motorcycle driver by the way is me and I had many people approach me asking about it and making some general small talk.

Same goes for women. They have something you (obviously) like, so why not go to them and try to know them better? she can always say no so whats the harm in that?

The moment you see a woman you like (and there are no obvious "obstacles" in the way, like her mass murdering friend who just got out of Prison by her side :) ), thats all the "sign" you need.

Just remember the MGTOW teachings and keep your head clear. If things work out however, dont get too "mesmerized" by what you like or you might find yourself wishing she would have just dumped you on the spot there.
