It's narrative. They have to throw the word out over and over for it to have power.

They me nothing, I mean really. Exactly how big of a deal is it to have my soggy knees? I mean, I dry them with a towel and get on with my day.

See all women have is the triad of blame, shame, and frame. They think if they call you misogynist you'll bend the knee and stop doing whatever you're doing, which is calling them on their bullshit. Women are incapable of distinguishing between "hate" and "calling them on their bullshit", so like children they call you names.

Who gives a shit what they or the media says? The media is all propaganda and lies, and women are not worth the time listening to, much less anything else.

You forgot the word "triggered", which I feel like is very important, as the status quo is "anything can be triggering". In the ends of ends I think it comes down to one thing. Be careful who you talk to and associate with as much as possible. Be silent like the g in "lasagna", unless your own well being is in question. If it's broken don't fix it so to speak.

i.e. Why is it thrown around? Mostly a shame tactic unless you react to it, then it's their ammunition.

Repetition causes hypnosis. Hypnosis allows for a measure of control. I stopped watching most tv and listening to most radio years ago because I noticed they were trying to hypnotize me. When you get someone to stop actively thinking, you have control over their unconscious mind. The unconscious mind will accept anything that doesn't present an immediate danger as long as it is repeated without incident. That is why most of us instinctively want to help someone in danger even though it could hurt us in the long run. We have been programmed to believe self sacrifice is noble.
