Eh I try not skimp on price if I do drink. I don't like to anymore because it makes me depressed and gives me sinus headaches. I also like to drink things that taste good now, versus stuff I used to brew which was good but had a big kick to it. I like ciders now like Strongbow, or mead which is wine made from honey. Redstone Meadery makes good mead for the most part and they can be found in wine stores usually in the dessert wines area.

If you like dark beers, I recommend Negra Modelo. As for whiskeys, I was a single malt Scotch snob. I would only drink Glenmorangie, Glendfiddich, and Balvenie. You don't have to drink the really old stuff to enjoy it. The 10 and 12 year old scotches are all you need. All that being said, be very careful about drinking too much. I've been sober for over two years now. I drank way too much and for way too long...and now I suffer many life long health problems as a result. I would strongly encourage you to never drink too much.

Jack and coke is my go to. Vodka sour is another favorite. Other than that I'll drink almost any decent mixed drink.

I don't really drink much beer. I do like Red's apple ale, though I don't really consider it to be beer.

I'm an ex-drinker. I was into whiskey, jack daniels or johnny walker (minimum black label) was my go to drink.

Was never much of a beer person, but for some reason I liked Guiness Draught a lot.

Those are mainstream beers. Try some craft beers by RAR, Tired Hands, and Union Craft Brewing Co if you can find them.

Scotch whisky, the best! Different islands have different and unique flavors in them according to their soil and oceanic environment. If you love a smoked brisket or ribs on a mesquite smoker then you would enjoy ‘peated’ scotch. Nothing like drinking a delicious glass of smoky scotch at the end of the day. A good beginner scotch not peated would be a glenfiddich 12yr(not too expensive) or a Highland Park 12yr for a ‘peated’ beginner scotch. The heavier peated scotched with a bigger price range would be Ardberg 10yr ($49.95 here on the west coast, my favorite daily drinker one or two a day yumm) or the queen bee Lagavulin 16 (a quite expensive and special occasion peated scotch my ultimate favorite). With all the money you have being single, why not indulge a bit. With scotch it’s quality over quantity if you enjoy drinking.

You're listing the standard macrobrews. Nothing wrong with them, but there's way more interesting options.

Blue Moon is the gateway from those to beers with actual flavor. Particularly its seasonal variations of Honey Wheat and Cinnamon Horchata. Hoegaarden and Allagash White are other representatives of the type, and pretty widely available.

I'm most into dark stouts. Guinness (make sure it's Draught not Extra Stout) is the gateway into the category and the most widely known. Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro is my recommendation, so smooth and sweet, and also not too hard to find.
