The average life expectancy for women is somewhere around 5 years longer than for men in the US. What better indicator of privilege is there than one group living longer than another? Workplace deaths, military deaths, suicide, homelessness... all dominated by men. Hell, if you go on a cruise today they will still tell you "women and children go in the life boats first".

Then you also take into consideration things like the amount of money and support that go into women's health issues vs men's. They have their own Women's Health Department for starters. Why is there no Men's Health Department? And then think about women's health issues and the amount of money and awareness raised for them, such as breast cancer. You don't ever hear about prostate cancer or testicular cancer. Should boys not be taught to check themselves for testicular cancer in the same way women are taught to check for breast cancer?

Men are disposable, plain and simple. Warren Farrell was saying all of this back in 1993 and literally nothing has changed in the 24 years since then.
