The unique personality is something that isnt lost in the power transition when you marry. This is my concern. When she pursues her career and becomes successful she's going to start making a lot more money. She's going to feel obligated to live a lifestyle that fits her income and she's going to start upgrading materials around her to show her financial status. It'll start with a bigger house, then nice clothes, then new furniture, new car, etc etc. She's going to start surrounding herself with successful people from work who she can relate to. She's going to need you to go out with her to these events to show off her relationship status personally. You will have to sit there and bullshit each other about this and that and "oh what do you do for a living?" And "oh wow so your wife's the bread winner ay, (obnoxious chuckle)". Now that all these new things are in her life, she's going to need to maintain them. Nothing last for ever, everything she financially invested in will need either repair or replaced. She will get caught up in this never ending cycle of consumerism trying to stay relevant. My question is can you keep up with her financially and socially?
