i thought that there is a certain personable touch to the arts, including fashion but i was very very wrong. I was going through the profiles of the people who run the top fashion companies. None of them have anything to do with arts or fashion in general. Ofc, big brands like LVMH and zara are run by shrewd businessmen who know how to manipulate commoners like us but i was wrong. All the top end lines like loro piana, brunello cucinelli etc are run by cunning ex- MBB consultants who graduated from schools like harvard, princeton etc. All those handmade in italy stickers are a farce. These people know that there are fools like us willing to go the extra mile and pay thousands of dollars for the cashmere sweater that they brand as hand crafted. Sad how we have been manipulated by all these brands which claim to stand for true craftmanship, beauty. All that is just a marketing sham. Look at the record label industry. Good, upcoming musicians are given less than 5 percent for every dollar made on the hit. Top authors cant afford to have a good lifestyle, etc
