My Dad didn't go this far. He had children to support, and God knows my worthless fucking mother wouldn't (and couldn't) do that.

But he did get the house seriously undervalued. As soon as the divorce started, he stopped all DIY to fix the house up, left the garden to get overgrown, delayed having the drive resurfaced.

The guy came around to value it a few months later (delays, due to my mother), and Dad gave him endless tea and biscuits, and wandered around the house with him 'accidentally' pointing out all the problems he couldn't see.

With the house fully done up and sorted, it's worth maybe 30% more than what the guy wrote down.

No regrets.

All men should destroy assets in divorce. If 100% of divorces end in property destruction either marriage will be phased out or communal property will be.

I can see where this guy was coming from. TBH he didn't actually hurt anyone so what he did isn't unjustified.

He was bailed to reside at the home of his sister in Hinckley, and he will have to wear an electronic tag to enforce a 7pm and 7am curfew.

Other conditions include not having any contact with his former wife and reporting daily to Hinckley Police Station.

Great fucking deal, work your entire life to marry a woman in her 30's who didn't want you in her 20's. She had her fun, you suffered and worked, and now you gotta support her for life while she continues to have fun and relax while you slowly die on the inside.

And your reward is a divorce, which is worse than having to start over because you have to hand over a large part of your paycheck if not all of it in alimony and child support.
