I've read his book twice when I was 15 and 18. I am 32 now and to this day I follow suggestions in this book.

You can indeed influence people to do what you want them to do but you can also over do it and become a people pleaser, eek. Also some perceptive people can see you faking and not being yourself sometimes.

Ugh Dale Carnegie; every guy in my class talked about how he used it to communicate better with his wife and tried to understand her "plight".
