I think that stat should be higher. Just considering they probably count the marriages that are on going as a marriage that didn't end in divorce. Just because they are married now, it doesn't mean they are safe.

If everyone stopped getting married and you let those married couples finish out their lives, I wonder how many more divorces would be added to tip the scale to more than 50%.
