'We Can Do I.T.' - I don't watch much TV, but recently I was in the room and couldn't avoid seeing this 'feel good single mama' commercial. First thought I had was to post it to r/MGTOW. Everything looks different through the lens of MGTOW philosophy.

Apologies if this is a re-post; plenty of our content is intentionally re-posted for good reasons i.e. new lurkers/subscribers (and even long-timers) find value in it. I just now saw this video had been posted to YouTube as long ago as June 9 of 2017. I did a search through r/MGTOW for it; I didn't quickly find it, but I might have missed it. I don't remember seeing it posted here yet, but I didn't find this sub until around December 2017.

Saw this commercial yesterday on TV (ha, yeah, some people still watch that, but not me usually). When I was pre-MGTOW (2017 or earlier), I would have had the whole 'oh look at the poor feminist single mama who clearly is a perfect NAWALT and obviously was screwed over by Some Horrible Man' feelz that the commercial is aimed at manipulating you into believing. Still some lingering feelz (years of indoctrination don't erase easily or completely), but the lens of MGTOW philosophy makes it a lot easier to see through all that. I'm glad to have found r/MGTOW (and more generally the MGTOW philosophy).
