Mastication? Well, I'd certainly hope that you're chewing your food. Not sure I would go so far as to call it a hobby, but if you get recreational enjoyment or entertainment out of it, more power to you.

Pick up a craft, my man. Any of the arts are good. You could do some Bob Ross paintings or work with watercolors. Woodworking and whittling, make birdhouses or some such. Write a novel or some poetry. Pick up an instrument and learn to play it. You could make model kits, or do model trains. Upholstering, sewing and knitting aren't solely for women either. Good skills to have so you can make clothing, mend clothing, etc. You could do pottery or work with clay. Or you could always just find yourself a project. Buy a piece of shit car and restore it, or just tinker around with old lawn-mowers or something. Maybe build a motorbike. Personally I like to buy antique typewriters and restore them to working order. Gardening is outdoor, but you don't have to travel for it, just plant in your own yard. Grow some food. Homebrewing is another big one, wine or beer. You could even distill liquor if you feel like it.

Depends what you like. A friend bought me a shit tonne of models for Christmas and it’s surprisingly relaxing.

Reading and working out are the obvious others.

A good hobby that will keep you engrossed for hours and for the price of a coffee: card magic. I've been practicing and performing card magic and other close ups (such as coins, ropes, etc.) for over a decade. The satisfaction you get both from mastering the art and performing magic, leaving spectators speechless is simply amazing.

Just keep in mind card magic and cardistry (which is basically showing off your card handling skills through crazy looking shuffles and displays) are very different and has fundamentally different philosophies. Pick one or the other to pursue if you decide to. I can explain in further detail if you're interested, but to keep it short, card magic is about being articulate and tricking the eye with sleight of hands while the spectator watches relentlessly. Cardistry is about being flashy and showing off, doing big moves. The approach and mindset is very different.
