I live in Jersey City and own a bunch of properties there. It's a fairly large city across the river from NY City. Some parts of it are glitzy with high rise buildings and hip restaurants, other parts are blue collar and poor. There is a mix of people: whites, blacks, hispanics, indians. The races seem to be a pretty good mix, and while you have white neighborhoods and black neighborhoods, I don't think there is any neighborhood that is exclusively one race. All around me, I see hard working people, men and women. People around me work physical jobs. When I'm coming home from work, I see people who were crushed working as laborers. I have a handyman from Ecuador, the fucking guy works 20 hour days. I can call him anytime 24/7. He'll show up, do an amazing job, ask for a decent wage and go onto his next job. He never says no to work and he always answers his phone.

If, in my neighborhood, anyone is going to bitch about the situation they're in, I'd say 75% of the time its going to be a white woman.

I take the bus to the city and every no and then there is drama. The drama is caused by either white women or black women. This morning, during rush hour this woman gets on the bus, looks around, can't find a seat, slams her foot and makes an audible sigh. Life is soo hard for her, she binge watched Netflix the night before and cannot wake up early to go to work and now she has to stand for 20 minutes. Booo Hoooo.

Does this woman do any house work? I cannot imagine her doing anything hard and physically demanding. That sort of work is beneath her. If she's got a husband or boyfriend, either they're going to hire someone, or he's going to be doing 100% of the chores.

The difference between locally born American women and those who came from somewhere else is that, for American women, living a blue collar life means that they are losers. They know there is a better life out there, but they didn't make it. They're stuck in JC and stuck working in the city and stuck taking the bus. They were supposed to be a princess and have people cater to their every needs. Where is

Foreign born people, even though they have a shit life, are grateful to be here. They've made it.

What happened to the American woman who could get shit done (raise 5-8 kids and work on a farm and an extra job) and wouldn't bitch about it 24/7?
