Its worse than than what Snowden is warning us about. Surveillance is bad enough. China is developing a social credit system, if your social score drops below a certain threshold guess what: you lose your job, can't take public transportation, cannot shop at or frequent certain establishments etc...

In the US people are weaponizing social media, starting with getting organized for protest evolving to blacklisting and ostracizing others with "un-popular" opinions. Imaging being pro-gun, no job for you. Ditto

Something creepy about facebook,snapchat,instagram and the like. If you ever watch people on these sites. i.e their on phone. They look like mindless zombies just staring in their screen.

That Oculus even thought about selling out to these freaks pisses me of. What's worse is that it actually happened. And people who invested in the initial Kickstarter crowdfunding investing it because they thought it was going to be a real gaming system. Not social media bullshit like the upcoming Go is supposed to be.
