Hey everyone.

New to this sub and recently discovered MGTOW after going down a YouTube rabbit hole of related topics. It could not have come at a better time, as I just left a nasty relationship with a leeching, emotionally abusive, piece of shit woman. I've watched a lot of Sandman and Howard Dare videos and they have given me a tremendous, rational perspective on what happened with my most recent relationship. More importantly, I'm beginning to see how so many of the things that I've been taught throughout my life about male and female interactions, and how I have implemented those lessons, led me to this last terrible three year relationship. I'll be as brief as possible.

I was raised to believe that women are somehow demigods levitating above the rest of us. They were to be sought after, simped over, lavish with gifts, and worshipped as the greatest achievement a man could get in life. So I treated them as such, and got screwed over again and again and again. Naturally this began to lead to a dissonance within myself. Why are all of my relationships spitting directly in the face of the things that I've come to expect from them?

So let's jump ahead to the most recent girlfriend. The worst offender of them all. After a year of dating this girl and of course ignoring all of the red flags I should have noticed had I've been thinking properly, she and I got a place together. And it didn't take long for the disrespect, childishness, and lack of consideration to rear its head.

Before we moved in together, it was all she could talk about. But as soon as she got it, it seemed like she didn't want it anymore. Lying, cheating, spending my money with and without my permission, telling me she was broke and couldn't pay her part of the bills but then being out until 4 in the morning at a bar. The worst offense, and the one that really pushed me over the edge and kind of lead me to the light, was when she sold a bunch of my Mairjuana to a friend of hers and pocketed the money, refusing to give it to me. I confronted her about it, and basically explained that was stealing. Her defense: "It's only 50$ worth. Why are u so stingey? I've never dated a man like this before."

When planning to move in we had hoped to combine our efforts to make sure we can get a place that was nicer then something either of us could have afforded on our own. We could lean on each other and accomplish more as a team. What a load of bullshit. It seemed the more I push on my end (making her food, covering her part of the bills when she came up short, driving her to places because she didn't have a car) actually made her disrespect and take advantage of me more than anything else.

She moved out a month ago. And even though all of the bills now fall on me, I am happier now than I was over the last three years. I have the means, the time, and the freedom, to pursue some goals that I have always wanted to achieve. I've accomplished so much just in the last month of her being out of my life, I don't want to date for a long time, if ever. It's the greatest thing ever. I can sit at my computer for 4 hours at a time working on a project, and not have the adult child standing behind me demanding that I pay attention to her. Complaining that I don't pay enough attention to her. Complaining that I'm getting out of work too late to cater to whatever bullshit she doesn't want to do for herself. Really bitch?

Anyway, this is gone on long enough. I want to thank this community, and the MGTOW movement/philosophy for opening the eyes of men to the reality of what's going on around them. We are men. We've made all the greatest achievements in the world, and this female obsessed, simping state of things we live in right now is sad.
