I'll try to keep this short.

Personally, I don't believe most hypotheses of the manosphere and where I live divorce laws are nowhere near as brutal as they are in the States. Why I went MGTOW is because:

If I am my own man and I don't seek validation from other people, why should I make an exception for women? I've been thinking a lot about this during my teens. I mean, there's so much more to life than chasing women/leading a family-man lifestyle. I want to become a better fighter, so I train hard. I want to become more knowledgeable, so I read and investigate. I want to see the world, so I travel. I just want to live life the way I want to, you know? I don't hate women at all. I'm good at talking to them, based on my experiences. But, why should I go out of my way to pursue and impress someone, who might emotionally drain me down the road, after a decade or so? If I am confident, secure in who I am, why should I pursue, impress, or as PUAs like to say, "game" someone?

Just because I have certain urges, that doesn't mean I must act upon them. On contrary, as a human being I am capable of evolutionary counterproductive actions a.k.a. not reproducing.

Anyone else in the same boat as me?
