This "technique" may work the first couple of times, but probably by the third use it'll just be disregarded as a defense tactic. I think the weakness with this technique is that it is just a reactionary response to someone that doesn't think through their feelings, thoughts, and ultimately what they say.

Worthless. Yeah Runkel, don't go into any examples of responses and what they might indicate about the person you're with. Nothing worthwhile maybe... and what you should probably do to move forward.
