19 yr old MGTOW here. Dreamed about once and forever kind of relationship bullshit. Then the girl that I dated for 3 yrs cheated on me multiple times because I was too boring/controlling etc. Recently found the roots of my idea of everlasting relationships - I dont really feel love, I fall in love of persons falling in love with me. Low self-esteem I guess. Started to be a lot more careful about womens behavior tho, when a red flag appears - I run away as fast as I can. My ex really ruined me so I dont want anything like that again

I've started thinking in a MGTOW way very early due to the fact that my parents were in constant conflict. I could see how my mother would purposely push my fathers buttons every time despite the fact she knew he would eventually loose it and hit her. I hated my dad for 13-14 yrs. One night I observed them , the entire situation from start to finish and I finally understood why he was who he was.
I mean how are you supposed to react if you have 2 kids, your wife goes out without permission to a club while you're at work ("gurls night out") , turns off the cellphone after 3-4 concerned calls from you. You go to the place and you find your wife is sitting on some assholes lap? Acting like the queen bitch?
Then I understood why my father couldn't control himself.
I can't imagine what I would have done in that situation. I finally understood that he was only continuing this for us(me and my bro) and us only. Later on in life I had similiar situation , but I'm different than my father (and I have no baggage) I just walked away and became MGTOW.

I'm also 19. I got here by seeing the family of a friend break apart thanks to a women and I was always seeing all the bullshit girls did when I was in school. AWALT even if they're just fucking 14 years old. Reading stories and watching videos about female nature, divorce rape, male suicide, etc, it correlated with what I observed was going on and so I found to MGTOW.

Thanks to the Internet, younger men are becoming MGTOW. Once a person is capable of independent thought and is willing to challenge the mainstream narrative, it's only a matter of time until he looks past feminist logic and discovers this whole new world of ideas. All it takes is a catalyst, ie an experience, a question or even an observation, and he will find concepts and ideas that only confirm and reinforce his beliefs.

I remember someone telling me that "love" is a gamble. As with any gamble, there are odds and risks. Thing is, would you gamble if you knew the odds of you winning were slim and the risks were high? The mating game was never easy to begin with, but couple that with gynocentrism and social conditioning and you get a system that benefits the woman 90% of the time.

We have accepted the fact that the only way to play is to not participate. Does this mean we have given up hope? No. Far from it. We have decided that we want to forge our own path and emerge as better MEN.

I'm 19 as well. Heard about MGTOW back when I was 17 and agreed with the idea but never really became engrossed in it and took it to heart until almost a year ago. I'm happy with the knowledge that I have acquired from this community as it has truly enlightened me and I'm far better off for it.
