Wrote this poem after meeting the most beautiful girl in the world. Beauty has such power over me. I would have married her had situations been different. I never showed this poem to her because I don't believe in telling women how i really feel. I have met other "beautiful" women after her and they all appear ugly by comparison. Such a waste that she was born at this time period. Such a waste that society taught her all the wrong ideas. Such a waste that the world could not allow her to be a women.

Dimples

The smile that could lunch a thousand ships, That glittering aura, The light twinkle of a blush, And deep hues of her sepal.

Longing to see the sunlight on her petals, Snowcapped petals and dimples of dews. Not afraid to bare her thorns, To discover the secrets of her pistil.

Awash in crimson, The cry of roses. All that is perfect meets in her eyes, The sparkle which god to the stars denied.

That you will always smile has been my simple ambition, You are the gem which I yearn to protect. This world, so large, And your smile, my bit of happiness.
