Heh... this sounds like just about any married man I've ever known. I don't know how many ideals and dreams I compromised for my ex.

And somewhat related to the article topic, I've always wondered if people could sue the person who divorced them for no good reason (i.e., "irreconcilable differences") on the basis of the resulting mental and physical trauma that can result. From everything I've read, it's well known that men are disproportionately hurt due to divorce, suffering far more. They suffer more depression, they physically decline. It would be sweet justice to be able to take the ex to court and ruin her finances due to pain and suffering.
