I agree, but somehow feel the frustration in the op's text. Since the rise of smartphones, I do find the hostility in public spaces has further increased. Where people used to say a polite "good day sir", when taking place in a bus stop near them, they now just keep staring on their smartphones (aka self validation crack pipes).

Another example, I hate riding train but sometimes have to, last time I had to, there were some younger thots with their moronic bfs who listened to crappy music on their fucking smartphones aloud ("babeeee", "oh babeee", "oh I love you sooo much" well, you know how it goes, just contemporary bull shit pop music) . Nobody in the fucking whole wagon said a word, that would have been impossible 10 or 20 years ago. I went there, and simply said they should turn it down or better turn it off, you should've seen the look on their faces. I guess, nobody had told them this before. One of the thot's bluepill simp boyfriend wanted to be cool and said I should shut the fuck up or something. I just stood there, watching in his eyes. He laughed, I watched, his laugh fainted, they turned it down. I went away. Civilization is decaying, fast.

Solution: Just do your own thing. Try to avoid people who will pull you down.
