Everything men enjoy that isn't women, or benefits them, they dislike because they see it as a threat. Anything that could take away our food, we'd be worried about. Attention is woman food, it's the next thing down from (actual) food, water and shelter for them. Their minds - feelings and ego especially - require attention/validation to work properly and be (relatively for a woman) happy.
When games started taking a good chunk of the attention and time of "good men" (meaning men women want for some purpose, including both BB "divorce-rape material" and AF "ideal fuck buddy" and more) away from women, then games became a problem. This is, IMO, why many women ruin guys hobbies, discourage their interests and sometimes even "ban" them (if the guy is a cuck).
Anything that competes with them for men's time, money and - above all - attention, is something they have a problem with. Because they feel entitled to that stuff and feel it's being "taken away from them" by the men spending it elsewhere. Just like how the government say "we lost $$$$ of tax revenues due to X" because they feel entitled to that tax, even though they never "lost" it. You have to get something in the first place to lose it.

Women are the reason why the DC CW shows (Flash, Arrow, etc.) have progressively gone down the shitter too. The head guy (Greg Berlanti) has said in interviews multiple times that he goes out of his way to hire women and that he wants crews to be 50/50. He proudly stated that he tries so hard to hire women that even when prospective hires turn him down, he will simply keep asking women until one says yes, even if he has to go through 20 of them. This means he has literally hired his 20th fucking choice because the person has a vagina, instead of hiring a guy who will do a much better job than even his first female choice. It's just pathetic.

Wow he sounds like such a cuck. It's guys like him who screw over men the most and give feminism/SJWism most of its real-world power (and there's plenty of them - rich and/or powerful influential people who nonetheless are total beta cucks). I don't like using those words since they're just hollow insults mostly, but they really are the best description of guys like him.

I've worked in the Gaming industry for over 10 years now, with roles in Publishing and Production over the years.
Could give you guys some horror stories about female colleagues who doesn't contribute at all or managed to turn highly productive agile teams into a group of people who doesn't enjoy their job as much anymore.
Unfortunately the Gaming industry is attractive to lazy and incompetent women because it looks cool on their CV and they can use this new "safe zone" culture in their favor by claiming harassment every time someone criticizes their attitude or work.
The Gaming industry is infested with Beta males and SJW males that will protect "M'lady" at every chance they get.
My favorite example was denying a female applicant a job a few months ago. I got a harsh email from a guy in a different team questioning my judgement skills and insinuating that I had already based my opinion before interviewing her. After checking Facebook I could see they were real life friends and she referred to him as her "bestie"...poor bastard..
