I've often had this problem. You'll have to either order online, spend time looking around at places that do have men there, or just get used to women being there. In the city where I live I've found a couple of places to do have mostly or all male staff and pretty much just go there if i need something. If they don't have it, order it off the Internet, Amazon, Zappos, etc.

I walked into a menswear store about 5 years ago, to buy a suit. There was one, middle aged lady in there. I asked her where the men were and she said there were none working that day.

I told her I wouldn't be served by a woman in a menswear store and told her I wouldn't be back, because there should always be a male staff member available in a menswear store.

If someone gets offended when you ask, I suggest you go on the offensive. Come right out and call them sexist to their face and don't let up. Be smart, not aggressive and find a way to accuse them of racism too.
