I mean, according to my understanding God is more forgiving of Repentant Lifelong Sinners than he is of Devout Lifelong Believers who commit a single sin. I guess he gets more points for taking someone from Satan, than he does for simply keeping his brainwashed herd in line, it's a game of chess between good and evil, the goal is to capture the other sides pieces.
