What are your thoughts on when women say "You're not my type," i personally think it comes across as a subtle way of saying "No thanks, i'm looking for someone better." Yet they claim that 'opposites attract?'

edit: Just pointing out that this is not something i'm going through, just something i want your opinion on. I'm much better than that, single and proudly keeping it that way.
