It always starts as a silly heart or something ridiculous, followed by a few others to try and balance out the first one. Those who can afford it have no choice but to go all-in and pay a real artist to salvage their maimed skin with actually impressive artwork. I her case, I'm positive that she started fucking a tattoo artist as I guaranty she didn't pay for all that ink.

Making the commitment to have a piece permanently on you adds a sort of charm to it for me. So yes I can print it, frame it and put it above my bed, but for me it wouldn't have the same effect.

Yep. I've heard that if you want a tattoo, print it out and stick it on the fridge. If a year later you're not sick of seeing it, go ahead and get it inked on.
Personally don't get tattoos. They generally look shit, and they're hardly a statement of individuality when every other wannabe tough guy has full sleeve tats. If you're a member of a gang or the armed forces etc, I get it, but I can't think of anything I'd want permanently inked on my body.

I think I'd be more inclined to get a tattoo if it actually looked good in person. But every time you actually see one in real life it never looks as good as it looks on photos, especially after some time when the ink tones down.

There's nothing wrong with liking the appearance of tattoos. Just make sure you understand what they mean for you (i.e. not what women think their tattoos mean but what they actually mean psychologically -- that they're more likely to be messed up, overly risk-oriented people).

people with tattoos
most women
dumbasses(which could be a good chunk of the world)
don't sleep with STD ridden people( who show they sleep around or are likely to sleep around)
Don't lend money you that you need to survive and so on and so on.
Are there exceptions? Of course, but when I'm meeting someone new they immediately get placed in a category if they have tats. Im not an ass about it, but I limit my contact.
Running on autopilot for basic things makes my free time all the more important. So through my anecdotal experiences its served me well. If i have to come up with justifications for seeing chicks who tat up who are lacing their body with heavy metals, such as lead in some cases, makes me shallow for not getting to know them on a personal level its no loss to me or them. I've got female cousins who got ink cause our grandfather died, one who got one with a date when she got an abortion. Another chick got a breast cancer ribbon, stupid her got red which looks like HIV/aids ribbon. So the people around me who tat up are fucking dumbasses. Sadly I dont know a single one in my circle who is doing better than me who has tats. Is it because of tats, probably not. but they aren't the poster children of success with tats either. Like most people here stated tats may not equal crazy but it leans towards poor decision making.

Sure having a tattoo doesn't always mean someone is crazy but I really don't get why you dudes want to play with fire that much. You all know AWALT. You live it. You KNOW what women are like. Why the fuck do you even say this as if to imply you want to take a chance with them? Even if there are exceptions, there aren't enough exceptions for it to matter that there are exceptions, at all. At the end of the day you can do what you want (as that is the key point of this philosophy) but I'm just warning you it will almost certainly not be worth it.
