I would say life in general. Relationships, leisurely pursuits, personal philosophy, etc. Basically, just do what makes you happy, and generates fulfillment to you in life.
Far too many people seemingly have a bucket-list of traditional milestones that they think will make them happy "just because". It's largely created/driven by society rather than what makes them feel personally fulfilled.
Now, admittingly, alot of this ties into a notion of NEEDING to be in a relationship/being married....largely at the expense of one's goals and personal happiness. You likely look at the sub and see a lot of posts around women.
Well...breaking away from that mold generates A LOT of anger around some hypocrisies. Especially with newer members. My take? Let them vent, I mean, not many other internet communities really allow a "male-oriented" space to get one's things off their chest.
Hopefully, these individuals will largely get over this personal-culture shock, and grow as individuals...along with us. Stick around, there are definitely posts that go down this path, and can provide a chill discussion or interesting insights on various topics.

MGTOW is the idea that men will not follow the current societal expectations of pairing off with a woman. They will simply live their own life for their own happiness.
But it also attracts a lot of shit posters who just hate on women.
In a way it is understandable the hate they have. You would have to develop some pretty negative feelings to turn your back on one of societies most perpetuated social norms of pairing off. But whatever the reason each guy here has, that is the general idea.
MGTOW should not be confused with redpill or MRA. They do have some overlapping ideas, but the overall ideology is somewhat different.
