The way I see it is, romance is a waste of time. Women love men mostly for his capability to gather resources. Well, that encompasses a lot of traits about a man. It describes his wealth, looks, status, skills, intellect, work ethic, ambition, discipline, health, genetics, and dominance. Some people will say, "Oh, she doesn't love you, she loves your money and utility". Well, she actually does love you. Money is external, yes, but your capability to acquire money is part of who you are. This capability is a requisite for her to love you. On the other hand, men love women mostly for her beauty. So men have to have everything going for him, but women simply have to look good. If she gets acid thrown on her face, he will leave her. If he falls on hard times and loses his job, she will leave him. Then there's the female's hypergamy in place along with the disparity of perceived sexual market place value. The worth of an average man is of subhuman trash, while the average woman is a beautiful angel. You can never hold on to an 8, 9, or 10 unless you are the ultimate man. And even then, women are irrational, emotional, fickle, and will perpetually shittest you. You have to constantly be on your guard and on the top of your game, while she has to do nothing, but look pretty. You have to be tamed by her, but still perceived to be strong. She will also drain your resources and time. And her beauty will fade as she ages, so what's the point? I won't even get into the court system.

So to answer your question, if I was attracted to men, there would be less issues, but still issues. Male nature is different than female nature. We would love each other mostly for our looks. However, there is always a power dynamic in relationships. Compromises of the self will have to be made. There is no such thing as equal power balance in a relationship, one person will always have to be dominant. With this dependency, comes a severe loss of freedom. And freedom is what MGTOW prize the most. To not be bound by relationships and the gynocentric society's expectations of men. You also have to ask yourself, what does love and sex serve to you, not society and human civilization, but YOU. You have been genetically programmed to crave it, but what's the point? To me, it serves no purpose. Whether it be straight relationships or gay relationships, love and sex is a waste of time, money, and energy. For me, the dominance and mastery of skills, self-actualization, is the ultimate purpose.

The issues are not just related to women. The most serious issues are related to the court system and that lopsided weight it gives women.

This includes restraining orders without cause, child custody, arbitrary child payments, alimony, and divorce settlements that don't make sense.

In addition some men can be jailed and lose their rights unjustly.

The risk is just not worth it in the USA, and probably most of the Western countries.
