Yes, what you say is true, however not everybody is so lucky as to get the opportunity to have all evidence overturned and reviewed again before they're carted off to jail. In many cases, they are stuck in prison for years or decades before anybody does anything to reverse the sentencing. That's why in the UK right now they are about to re-examine all the cases to check if the proceedings were unlawful, which is positive, but when you think about the grand scope of how many thousands perhaps millions of men have been affected over a period of 50 years or more, it's merely a drop in the ocean.

That's why in my opinion it's always best to go to the media and make sure everything you have in your defence is made public, including any instance of bias. The court will hate you for it, but since the alternative would have meant losing your life in prison, who gives a shit what the fucking court wants as long as media exposure can declaw them and make them toothless.
