Narcissism was once considered an illness and, of you were a woman in the 17th Century, for example, it was supposedly an offense.

In 1914, or thereabouts, Freud wrote his paper Zur Einführung des Narzißmus, which led to the clinical study of narcissism as a psychological disorder in society. I forget when, but narcissism led to the definition of Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) and was added to the DSM. Sometime in 2010, or thereabouts, NPD was removed from the DSM as it was no longer considered a "disorder" anymore. In other words, a form of psychological and mental insanity has become too common that it's not considered normal. In fact, there is what is considered "healthy" narcissism as opposed to the unhealthy type.

My last girlfriend before going MGTOW "suffered" from NPD but, at the time, I didn't understand it. If anyone has ever been subjected to narcissism as supply, it's not very pretty; it's fucking horrendous. There have been countless novels and films made about narcissistic mothers with one coming to mind, Mommy Dearest.

If you're a child, boyfriend or husband looking for female validation, a narcissistic bitch will suck you dry of anything that defines you, both as an identity and as a man. IMO, it's the tool by which a woman will drive her child or her man to suicide.

The incredibly sad part of narcissism is that there's a bit of a Matrix effect involved, i.e., you don't know what you don't know. As a narcissist, you don't know you're one because the illness reinforces that sense of self-grandiose that prevents the sufferer to accept that she has something wrong with herself. Only those affected by her and her actions are conscious.

I would assume that other previously defined and accepted societal disorders like lying under oath, strapping sticks of dynamite to your chest and blimping out of 600 lbs. are not becoming "acceptable" in society and, through the social narrative of the Left, we're conditioned feel guilty if we think otherwise. Again, the moral or character argument will always trump the objective one.

If it hasn't happened already, I would imagine that in sometime, herbavorism will essentially become the norm for the large part of Japanese men.

I think that any man that is in any relationship (friendship even - not just marriage) with any woman that exhibits the signs of a Cluster B disorder in the old DSM-4 should FUCKING RUN. Don't walk, but RUN. Run - block the number - go no contact. There's a lot more at risk than the types of stuff that MGTOW usually talk about.

These types of people are enough to damage your sanity - perhaps permanently - and an intimate relationship with one is dangerous.
