They've created the perfect beta provider marriage simulator - Nigel picked a single cold, unfeeling, uninterested mate from a huge concrete flock of seagrrrls and dedicated his life to making an ideal life for both of them, which was futile because she never dedicated herself to him (although in this case that was because she was made of concrete) and instead "remained loyal" to the other dead-ender stone hearted bird girls. He even went so far as to eschew other real birds to be with her and her cold-hearted friends, just like a real dedicated beta hubby would out of "respect for the misses", and he died unmourned by her.

Should be interesting to see what parallels this "relationship" has to sex robots in the near future. I'm thinking AI might be the real game changer here

Am I the only one who read this while imagining a pixar animation of a nearly insane bird loosing his grip on reality while working his best stuff on these cold hearted mannequins?
