I can only talk from my point of view, and it is one that is changing, so take it for what it is.

If you constantly look at something that makes you angry and it doesn't not add anything other than anger to your life, then i think seeking that anger is a waste of time and energy.

If this is getting in the way of you living life, then it is a issue, if you are just in a angry phase as you come to grips with things then eh give it time and it will die down in time, if it persists and affects your ability to function in the world, then i would say it is detrimental.

It's like visiting a hospital and complaining that you see blood everywhere.

Anger/rage is just the early phase. No man can afford to be in that phase for long- eventually he either goes back to the plantation life because he can't live alone OR it culminates in a state of total indifference to woman.

I found that I was really into the angry material when I was in the red pill rage phase. Eventually I had to move on. I still have to share stories and experiences to point out certain things in life. The newcomer can learn from these things. As we progress we also learn from others who are past that anger phase.

Anger is counter-productive. I like to play chess and if I listen to angry gangsta rap while I play it, it actually makes my game worse.
