Disclaimer - This isn't explaining what DMT is, if you want to know more about it look it up. And I am in no way advocating trying DMT. But your brain does produce a very small amount of this drug when you sleep.

"Do not give way to Astonishment." Everyone who has ever done DMT will tell you that they remember some sage dude saying those words. Watch Joe Rogan's video "Joe Rogan talks about DMT" on youtube for reference. (Can't link it without the thread getting removed) Now, just to clear the air, I have never tried DMT and when my good (two words I rarely put beside each other) friend (also hasn't tried it) told me about it a month ago I was very skeptical. But I was very skeptical with TheRedPill, too. I could of just dismissed TRP but I chose to be rational and try to build my own opinion based on my observations. That's what I've done...so do the same before you assume I'm a lunatic or some shit.

To the point, though, if you Google "Astonishment" it will give you the obvious but heavily simplified definition: "great surprise." Really? That's what our modern way of defining words has come to? When I was younger I used to play scrabble with my Grandmother. She had a Bachelors in English, so I never won, but she was always very particular with the dictionary she used. I wish I had it so I could describe it but just know that it had a good 40 years on me when I was 8. The dictionary was thorough with it's definition (almost every word had a paragraph to describe it). And that's how dictionaries should be, not open for constant interpretation like words are now. I mean come on a book had to be written to define masculinity. That's not a put down, "The Way of Men" is a great book, but the fact that it has gotten to the point where a book like that has to be written is sickening. Anyways, to address the point, I wanted a better definition so I used Websters Dictionary 1828 (It's an alright website, wish I could find one like the one I was attempting to describe). A much better definition was given: "ASTON'ISHMENT, noun Amazement; confusion of mind from fear, surprise or admiration, at an extraordinary or unexpected event." Confusion. Let that sink in for a second. This made a lightbulb go off in my head when I read that. That jaded, confused state that everyone seems to be in...that's exactly what that sage dude is talking about. Confused from Fear, Surprise, or Admiration. Everyday people sink farther into their desperate hole of a life afraid to simply ask some girl out or stand up for themselves, stuck in a feminine state where their lives are spontaneous with surprises every month (the opposite of a stoic "rock"), and constantly in awe of that Alpha Chad (Dan Bilzerian) they see banging all the chicks and and living his life as he sees fit.

In the Joe Rogan video he talks about how cities are basically this cancerous bacteria just growing and how humans shouldn't be living like this. The video explains it a lot better so just watch it. /u/NeoreactionSafe either made a thread or posted a comment about Agenda 21. What he posted there was exactly right.

I was flying home and I had to change planes on the trip. When I got on the second plane it was around 9:30 so it was pretty dark outside. I stared out the window down at the city, and which at first looked like a big area of light. However, as I ascended, in comparison to all the area around it, it was nothing. I kept looking out the window and everything was so dark outside the city, you wouldn't know people lived there if it wasn't day time. Maybe it's a bad way to depict what Neo was trying to say in that thread but I saw some kind of link there.
