Bullshit law. California already has this. They send both parents to a mediator and you work out a deal and custody plan. Both parties agree and then the judge signs off on it. However the woman always changes her mind after she hears the difference in child support and backs out on the deal. I sat in on a few custody cases and it happened like this 90% of the time. All it does is put more money in the pocket of the courts and lawyers by introducing more steps that you have to pay for.

Feminists hate 50/50 custody bills. They will pull every trick to see it go by the wayside. It would be good to see an exception.

Well, it's a start of sorts. But Alimony and property confiscation after divorce would still remain.

We'll see what happens, but still should never marry or even live with a woman in Alabama as it's a common law marriage state.

My state "has" this. Guess who usually gets the kids anyway. There is no recourse against family court judges. The family court system is basically whatever the judge feels like is necessary.
