overarching conspiracy
Buddy. You have no idea.
All this seems strange and unfathomable because you haven't lurked long enough.
Read. Follow links. Watch videos.
The Red pill on women is the first step in a long road of knowledge and self betterment. Stick with it and you will learn things about this world that will devastate, but ultimately free you. On a level you can't comprehend right now.

Right. So if I were to start anywhere, be it from the links on the side or other links/videos, what would I watch?
I'm not buying into it initially but I'll entertain it until I've seen the evidence.
[–]Coluphid0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Fair enough.
But realize you're asking about what is essentially a vast, hithertofore invisible field of knowledge and history. One that is socially taboo and in fact runs counter to vast amounts of social programming.
The reason why we use the term Red Pill is because someone can't just tell you what it is. It would sound crazy and you'd never believe it.
Lurk here. Lurk /pol/. Ask questions and either keep an open mind or be prepared to defend your opposing views with supported arguments.

Personally I'd send you right to Popp for his description of the spectrum of MGTOW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOIduTY0mHY
Then Spetznaz for some cold hard truths... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbbeOA5K7Hhc3I2vWG1jZ0w/
Then follow the sidebar on the right and visit Thinking Ape and BarBar. Welcome.

Thanks. I'll give these a watch.

I recommend The Manipulated Man by Esther Vilar. You can find the pdf by Googling it.
You can see Sandman, TFM, Terrance Popp and MGTOW 101 on YouTube but they got a ton of content whereas the book is straight to the point.

There's different types of mgtow guys.
Some seem pro man and happy.
A lot seem to be aggressively anti woman and bitter, they use reddit as a vent

The latter are transitioning into the former.
Bitterness and venting is part of the process.

Because I've been fucked over by women too many fucking times.

I'll be brutally honest about my own situation. I'm by no means the "average" MGTOW, and some people might resent me for fitting a stereotype that MGTOW-shamers love to use, but I am who I am. I was born with a reproductive hormone disorder that resulted in stunted sexual development (not a dreaded "micro" but small enough below the average to be an issue with a lot of women). I basically was a MGTOW (by action, not by name) throughout my teens and twenties, and hated the world for the hand I was dealt.
Years of therapy gave me the confidence to date in my 30s, and I finally got intimate last year. She mentioned offhand that she was a commitment phobe, which should have been a red flag. She broke up with me after we went with my co-workers on a road trip to a major theme park (literally said "we need to talk" as soon as we got home). It sent me into a spiral that resulted in a suicide attempt and weeks in a hospital. Like a moron, I tried online dating again, but this time I could tell that she was stringing me along, so I ghosted after our first date (she didn't message me, either, so I know I made the right choice).
I'm an "Aspie" to boot, and most women can't hold an intellectual conversation with me, so why bother, anyways. I hate smalltalk with a burning passion and that's all I hear when I'm around female relatives.
I'm just done playing games. I'd rather be alone and pursuing my hobbies than try to play silly games to win a woman's attention.

As far as an "evil conspiracy," I don't think that most women themselves are evil. The conspiracy lies in cultural Marxism, which uses feminism to undermine the traditional family unit, which then causes major problems in society. That traditional family unit gives most men the ability to get married and have families. Without it, the natural hypergamy of women comes out and you then have most women vying for a small amount of powerful (rich/attractive etc) men. The traditional, religious family structure allowed Western civilization to reach the heights it did. Men had a reason to work and build and improve society. Now that feminism (aka cultural Marxism) has dismantled that, why should a guy kill himself working 80 hours a week to support a family when his wife will just divorce rape him?
Well said.

Dude, seriously you are only missing a headache. I had other certain issues with my genitalia during my teens that an operation sorted out when I was 19. Before that the only sexual contact I'd had with a female was kissing a few when I was a kid and even after the op I was so shy around females I didn't get laid until I was 25. After years of having the 'normal' life with women they have lied, cheated, threatened, manipulated, stolen, been terrible in bed, been violent, been on drugs and driven me almost to suicide. Yeah sex is great but even that wears off after a bit and you realize it's just not worth it. Stay MGTOW my friend and achieve great things, you are wasting your time with women, all they bring is ruin eventually.

Main thing I see is the social conditioning to reign in womens natural selfish nature has been destroyed, meaning, traditional institution like marriage have become obsolete and anyone getting involved in such arrangements is bound to get his ass handed to him.

Indifference toward women is what most here strive to achieve. I get shitty every now and then whenever one of my ex's bounds into my head. It's normal to feel rage when one finds out they've been lied to all their life.
Sure, some come here to vent and I have no problem with it. I was there, I know how it feels. But I've come to the point where I just don't give a shit about women. Why should I spend time, money and energy on some chick that'll maybe (most likely not) give me the time of day?
Some guys here have been divorce raped, they have a legitimate reason to harbor hatred against women and I don't blame them at all.
That's basically what this is. Men coming together in one spot to talk, vent or to share stories. I just come here to enjoy the comadrie that's shared here. I don't care for or want a woman, I have a pet, friends and my father to talk to if I want companionship.
Ah right. Essentially the same position here.

I am pro-myself. That's what men going their own way means: placing ourself first no matter what.
I used to adore women, then I distrusted them, then I hated them, and now I just completely don't give a fuck about them anymore.
I try to keep them away from my personal life as much as possible though, less drama that way. But I have nothing against women acquaintances, as long as they stay just acquaintances.
I don't believe in an evil-woman-conspiracy: they are just as they are, and act accordingly. Just deal with it, or disengage completely.

The great thing about MGTOW is that it is not a club or movement. There's no lines or narratives to repeat or believe. There's no membership or validation. It is an idea only.
For me, at least, it's a case of not wanting much to do with women. [...] emotional closeness to women is undesirable at the least and outright repulsive at its worst
Sounds MGTOW to me.
Personally I don't dislike women. It is just too risky to associate with them.

Thanks. This is partly what I was attempting to figure out. Whether or not everybody was 'on the same page' or whether we're mostly all our own guys but we happen to share a common disinterest/dislike of women.
I got out of my first serious relationship about 6 months ago (of 2 years, I'm in my late teens for reference) and it took it out of me for numerous reasons. I was looking to get back into dating but I can't say I'm that interested. I have a few good female friends, but sustaining romantic interest and all the baggage attached doesn't seem worth it, I guess. Deserting the freedom to be myself is fucking awful. Hence why I'm here.
