I'm not a cycling expert, but I have watched quite a bit. A lot of times it's the guys who stay 2 & 3 place win when it comes down to sprint to finish line. Or you have other teams overtake from behind. But I get your point.
I see yours too. Those are really about staying in or getting to the front of the pack, then drawing on that reserve tank for the final leg. I can't stand watching bike races, or any races for that matter, but I get how they work. I would rather watch bike races than motorsport races or NASCAR.

Funny as shit. But in all honesty, they didn't mark the course very well. I mean he'll a couple arrow signs would have been nice.
