What the fuck is up with women and travel blogs? As someone who travels somewhat frequently and does his research beforehand, it seems like 9/10 travel blogs you come across are solely female or couples but spearheaded by female. For those of you that have seen the pumpkin spice latte Stardusk video, I kind of think this would fit well into that topic.

For men it seems like enough to travel and enjoy it but at the end of the day a man seems to rarely(at least as compared to women) identify as a 'world traveler' or use terms like 'wanderlust' and so on... A man is generally a person who also enjoys traveling, where it seems like these women identify more like travelers who also happen to be people.

I think a lot of this has to do with Stardusks point that a woman is much more willing to put their whole life out there online without reservation. For example, even if a female doesn't make a travel blog, she is highly likely to at the very least fully automatic shotgun blast her pictures on facebook and make dam sure everyone sees them.

For the male travel blogs I did come across, a much higher proportion (as compared to the female ones) seemed to be at the very least peddling a newsletter or maybe trying to sell you something. This fits much more into the idea that males are more likely to use social media and the internet in platforms such as Linkedin or twitter rather than facebook or instagram. I.e. to improve their resource value (as in this case) or to spread ideas.

These are at least my thoughts. Any other input? I find it fascinating
