I recently decided to jot down some of the many things that women have done to me that would be considered sexual harassment/misconduct if roles were reversed. I'm forgetting a lot for sure because honestly most of it is trivial in the grand scheme of things... but it's all stuff that could land a man in serious shit these days. Here goes:

  • Had a drunk colleague (middle aged woman with kids almost my age) dump my beer on my head at a holiday party because I wouldn't dance with her (for a second time) at a work event. She later bit me on the back through my shirt for the same reason, leaving teeth marks (pretty painful too). All in front of company management. She wasn't reprimanded for it in any way.

  • Same woman has groped me multiple times in the office, also in front of management. Co-workers, including women, have told me how weird it was.

  • Had my ass grabbed multiple times in public by a random.

  • Girl I dated for a couple months coerced me into having sex without a condom when I was adamantly against it (said "no," didn't just use nonverbal cues) and had told her I had never done it raw before. I did give in after a while and regretted it (luckily the experience made me go soft but there was still contact). I wouldn't call this assault/misconduct even though I was coerced because I have agency and could have gotten up and left.

  • Female colleagues ranked men in the office based on attractiveness and named me "office stud." Later told me I was dethroned by another guy in the office.

I'm sure there's more but like I said it's all trivial since I'm a man obviously 🙄
