I was dating a girl for a couple of years. She was a fuking nutcase, but that's besides the point. When she wasn't being insane she would fawn over me. She would tell me that I was the greatest guy ever. Endless compliments about how I am the greatest, only one for her, just wants me etc. etc.

I remember we broke up for a week. I dumped her because she was being a fucking lunatic. We ended up getting back together after a week of not talking. She left her notebook on my counter in my house. Being the curious bastard that I am, I open the notebook to see what's in it. I see school notes and such, so I go "ah, it's hers ok whatever." I find that there was a recent entry (dated), and it was a list of things to improve her life. One of those things was "no more one night stands". I found that interesting since I was dating her for the past two years and the entry was made after us being together for just about 2 years. Fun.

I flip a few more pages and I see a letter addressed to some guy. I read it and it's essentially a love letter to some guy she probably banged during the week we were broken up. I read the letter and I swore it was fucking deja vu. All the things she stated to me "Being the only one for her", "You're all I want etc". They were fucking VERBATIM in this letter to the guy she met in the week we were broken up, and I mean she literally met this guy that week also.

It was like she literally had a script of all the things she says to each fucking guy she meets. It was at that moment I realized all the compliments she gave me were just bullshit she throws at whatever guy she is trying to snare at the moment. Now, I assume that's the same with all women I meet. A Woman is flirting with me? Filling my ego with bullshit compliments? Maybe she wants some dick or maybe she wants something else but what's for certain is what she is saying is bullshit and I weigh it all like a grain of sand.
