the guild’s contract only covers minimums that actors can be paid. If Williams was paid at least scale for the reshoots, there’s nothing SAG-AFTRA can do about it, and anything Wahlberg may have negotiated above scale is OK with the union.

The fact they’re both represented by the same talent agency — WME — could raise questions, if true, about fair and equal representation.

On the one hand, we have Michelle Williams, who has been either a secondary player or a star in low-budget indie films.

On the other, we have Marky Mark Wahlberg, actor in big budget films and successful producer of both TV shows and films.

Who can reasonably command more money between the two?

If Scott and Williams were working on flat deals that pay the same even if a shoot goes longer than expected, their unions – the DGA and SAG-AFTRA – probably wouldn’t be able to claim a contract violation. But the optics of paying the lead actor 1500 times more than the lead actress, if true, would be the latest example of the age-old pay gap between actors and actresses.

So no wrongdoing actually took place, but feminists want to complain because Marky Mark's time is worth more than Michelle Williams'.

They don't even think everyone should be paid the same. They think lesser known actress should be paid the same as famous actors, but are fine with lesser known actors being paid less than famous actresses / actors. Basically, they just women to be paid more

Let's face it, bugger all people will want to go see a movie with Michelle Williams as the main star, but lots will pay to go see a movie with Mark Wahlberg in it and that's why he gets the big bucks.
