A few years ago, before I was mgtow, I got in trouble. All sorts of trouble. Civil trouble, financial trouble, criminal trouble, violent trouble, mundane trouble. Whenever I was about to make great strides forward, I would get into trouble. All these trouble had one thing in common. A woman.

I'm not saying women are the cause of my problems. In fact its the opposite. I was the cause of my own problems. But, god damn, why does it seem like I am only causing my own problems when women are involved.

Dear reader, you have to understand, outside of these great catastrophic events that punctuated my life once a year, I was a great guy. A rapidly rising star. I'm talking most likely to be president, type of rising star. But every single year of my life, there was a something that would knock me back to square one. I'd be in jail, or I would be in court, or I'd have spend all my savings, or I would have to drop out of school, always something.

I thought it was me. As a man, I deal with the reality. And everytime I fucked up, I would reflect on what I could do differently. But every single fucking time a major disaster occcured, there was a woman in my life l standing right there at ground zero. What's more, she was standing there completely unscathed. Her life just seemed to coast on, unchanged.

Maybe my lizard brain is changing me when women are in the equation. Maybe my genetics are driving me to be a protector or viable mate. Whatever was going on I was making poor decisions when women were involved.

Once I understood the role women were playing in my downfall it all became clear. It was a million small things that would build up and make a horrible situation more likely when dealing with women. Take for instance being drunk at a friends house. My male friends cared about me. They'd offer their couch, or offer me a ride home. My female friends would only pretend to care and say "text me when you get home." Now if I get a dui, its 100% my fault. But, I can't ignore how completely differently one side was treating me vs the other.

Lastly, when it comes to consequences, I had to deal with them. When the outside world, be it the police or the mathematical fact of an empty bank account, the world would look at me to pay my debt. When a girl throws a drink in my face, somehow the world responds to that by having a bouncer dislocate my shoulder. When a woman makes a false accusation, somehow a bar full of men can be arrested. When a woman sues me, well I must have done something right? Why else would she be crying? Write that check Mr. Jockey, or else!

So, I stopped dealing with them.

I stopped sacrificing my dreams for theres. I stopped putting energy into being with or around them. I stopped caring about their welfare. I removed tbe common denominator that was present in the most painful parts of my life.

AND WHAT DO YOU FUCKING KNOW! Its been years since anything bad has happened to me. Maybe its luck. But, maybe the reason I havnt been knocked on my ass recently, is because I stopped asking to be.
