As someone who's father took his life when I was 3, and mother did everything she could raising me and my brother on her own I am well aware I "missed" out on some things. (hunting and fishing are things I would have liked doing) I guess its how you all look at it. I didn't read every comment on this, but I get the idea that I didn't learn to be an "asshole" and be a mangina. Wrong wrong wrong.

I live my life exactly as I like, have my own beliefs and consider most guys douches and arrogant(but they will call it confidence cause they're too ignorant to know the difference), yes mostly the ones with the fathers who taught them to be like that. So I wouldn't change anything about not having a father I think he was an idiot when I look at everything he missed out on. The only thing I learned from him was to NOT give up because of that.

There was a time when survival was the only thing that mattered in life, now there's so much bullshit and opinions no one knows what to do other than what the world tells them.

I'm at a point where nothing could really touch me, I'm in Florida, 10 minutes from a beach single, stress free, and have peace of mind for the last year since moving here. I have to actually step out of my acceptance of what is with this post, to let anyone who was raised without a father don't let anyone tell you are less than a man. You don't need someone to tell you how to act or be, and anyone that does live like that is just a copy cat and has no imagination. Make your own way of living and think for yourself. No regrets here about being raised without a father and I would never let anyone tell me I'm less than.
