god, we're so fucking stupid when we're 20 years old. i remember proposing to my girlfriend of high school after 3 years together when i was 19. together 3 years, high school sweethearts, she was an actual virgin but researched about sucking dick to please me (future soon to be hall of fame whore)......but it seemed perfect. i look back now and see the pics, omg, i was so lucky to dodge that bullet. she married some lame loser and i laugh to think of him having to deal with her. she was hyper intelligent too (i want to a very well respected high school)....but even then, her female mind couldn't be calmed by her intellect and i'm sure they're suffering together as we speak, and i'm here, just enjoying this fucking freedom!

He's lost in the dream. He might think that if he works really hard then he'll make it. For most things it works like that, but relationships with women doesn't work like that. He'll just have find that out the hard way.

You can show him the evidence, but he'll only be woken up forever by his own experience. That might happen before he marries if he waits a while.

Just show him divorce corp on Netflix. I showed it to my brother and best friend. Best friend cancelled the wedding a few months later but he always tell me that documentary changed his life and as a logical man made a cost benefit analysis. If after that he still want to pursue marriage there is nothing else you can do.

Telling him the divorce stats isn't enough. You have to how him examples. What can happen and what his chances are that it won't happen. Tell him that he has to think with his brain and not with his dick.
