That said...Dude, I can relate way too much. I was a "gifted" child, studied engineering, and said "that's perverted" to random statements for laughs before I knew what it meant. I do MechE now. My college GPA was shit tier (~2.9; I didn't like what I was doing), but at a good school, and I had research + recommendations, so I got a (shitty) engineering job, then got into a third-tier grad school, and then got a decent engineering job.

So, I'd say this: keep seeing that shrink for the rest of your life.

On your own, you will think you're doing OK, but then you will make mistakes. If you do engineering you can afford to see a shrink twice a week. Do it. (I regret not continuing to see a therapist for a different issue.)

Also, given the daddybux, your real job is to become a socially aware person who won't lose the family money. Keep doing high-status things you can talk about (languages, theater, fitness, good books). Also, get a paid job, one where you talk to people. Mensa is for awkward smart people who aren't using their smarts...avoid.

Also, WoW is worse than being an alcoholic. Quit forever.

tl;dr: see the therapist twice a week, forever, and work your ass off to get better.

Omg. This was hillarious. Some might disagree but i think being a source of humor or entertainment gives you power... but perhaps you fucked up by repeating it on command like a clown. If you had the right personality with the IDGAF, talking to the ladies and getting them to laugh, throwing parties, and having dimension beyond the fish spasm routine, you would be a real catch
