But now that things are over I realize how free it is to be single, and I look forward to many, many more years of being single and living life for me and on my own terms and pursuing my own goals.

Sure, things are 'over.' IF you keep lying to yourself like that, you are going to pursue pussy sooner than what you think. It takes real effort to be free and such effort requires discipline over a long period time without any (or very few) rewards during the initial stage.

You should know there are 2 generations of Millennials (typically due to misclassification)

There are "early millennials" like me, who used to be labelled as Generation Y, who is 10 years older than your ex-gf, born in the late 80s/early 90s and were able to live out their childhoods without internet & computers and who grew up with Google/Yahoo/Lycos/the search engine wars

Then there are "late millennials", or what should be classified as Generation Z, or the "iGen" named after the iPod because they were born in the mid-late 90s or the early 2000s, generally spent their toddler years without internet before broadband was introduced into their home, and who grew up with Facebook/twitter/instagram/all these social media wars.

There is a lot of difference (at least on the men's side) but I find that Gen Y millennials are not nearly as self-absorbed as Gen Z millennials. There was a little bit of hope for them before Apple & Facebook destroyed the developing minds of the tweens.

Holy shit are you me? I was 29, though, and so blue pilled that I agreed to move in with her after only a few months. Her smiles disappeared, the ruthless shit testing began and the sex slowed to a trickle. She actually succeeded in reducing me to a spineless, groveling sack of shit... for awhile.
