The fact that they have to steal a concept instead of making their own independent women stories makes pretty clear they lack in the creative department. Let's rape succesful stories and then whine when people don't want to watch it cause we raped it

The preview looked entertaining enough. I liked the parallels they make between the beginning of Oceans 11 and this beginning (the parole board scene)

What I don't like is that they made it Danny Ocean's sister. So his amazing heist/cat burglar skills are genetic I guess, and not skills he acquired over time. Kind of makes Danny seem a little less important and special when it's just a family trait.

It's the film business who prefer to keep flogging a dead franchise (Star Wars anyone) by trying a new angle (SJW) rather than taking a risk with innovative film making. And they'll keep doing it until such shite bombs at the box office and then they'll stop.

John Mulaney, a comedian, did a bit on this years ago. He said they can't make an oceans 11 with just women because 4 would break off and talk shit about the other 7. I guarantee that's what this shit movie will be like

I do not know, mabye it will be a fun movie, mabye it will be shit. Must admit that most of the movies comming out today are not that great, it is better to watch some early seasons of good shows, or some indie movies or documentaries. Or you know read a book.

However it is true that this is clearly a way to appeal to the woman are powerfull statement, that does not necessarily makes it a bad movie. And yes it is a copy but then again most stuff is coppied so I do not think you can blame women entirely for that. That being said I think there is better stuff to focus on for me personnaly, so in hingsight I do not really know why I'm leaving my thoughts here.

It'll suck but certain critics will praise and others will be too scared to give the trashing it deserves with give it faint praise.

It's like the female Ghostbusters and the female Doctor Who, they have no real creativity and can only copy a famous product creating a pale copy of the original - kind of like JJ Abrams Star Trek and Star Wars.

Just another all female cast of Ghostbusters deja vu. Expect Sally sues who does everything a man can do and more. Not gonna watch it though, I'll be having headaches when I rolled my eyes throughout the movie
