I noticed a strong collation between the percentage of males and how important the job is to maintain a functioning society.

You could eliminate every job in a female dominated field and society wouldn't even know it. If you did the same for male jobs in male dominated fields it would be the end of civilization.

civil engineer is a bit below 90 but that's only because many civil engineers work in a cushy office making drawings and some shit. out in the field where I work it's 99%+ male. I have yet to meet a female site manager.

Well, I will say that it's kinda a wierd list....

For instance "Barbers" are 75%ish male

But Hairdressers are 14ish% male

So if we said "people who cut hair", would it be 45%male, 55% female?

not sure where i'd fall on this now, military for about 12 years of my career i was on submarines which put me at 100% but got force converted now i work on jets which i dont think i can use the airplane maintenance statistics due to military.

Female engineers are simply the worst. As an industrial engineer myself I simply can't stand them. Obviously they get stuff done because they are able to charm horny subordinates to do their bidding.

I had to learn all the practical aspects myself such as PLC programming, machining, lathing and working on high line voltages which would most likely kill you if you do one small mistake. My next challenge is to learn to do some welding. I'll still get specialists for those critical and difficult jobs, but there is no harm in learning a new skill.

The field I'm studying isn't listed (or I couldn't find it now, laziness hit me), but the closest is Aerospace Engineering and it is at 88.1%,my field is Aeronautical Engineering and it is really close to the Aerospace Engineering both in job description and female percentage. My year has around 75 students and at most 10 is female (roughly 87% male students). Similar for years preceding and following mine.

95.8 - Aircraft Mechanic.

There are only 2 women I work with. One is majorly overweight and engaged to a pilot. She showed me a picture of herself from about 18-24 months ago and the bitch has gained like 100 pounds. The other women is a black lesbian and talks about bitches as much as the rest of us. I'm cool with her and avoid the Very Hungry Caterpillar as much as possible.

I guess 'medical scientists' is close enough for my profession, but 52% seems a bit high. Far as I've ever seen in terms of staffing, the lab seems to be closer to 25% male; I'm also fairly certain I've lost out on jobs I've applied to in this field to women. I only just got my recent job because I'm all but certain the female candidate who was chosen over me flaked out.
